Board of Directors Search
When recruiting for Board Members, cFour Partners Worldwide follows the same basic process as for traditional executive search. However, we typically contact potential Board Members during the research and identification phase only to determine their interest in taking on a Board of Directors role - we would only specifically discuss the clients Board opportunity once they have been selected as the top candidate.
cFour Partners will present on average 20 to 40 potential board member candidates for client review. Once the board selection committee has evaluated and ranked those executives that they feel are most qualified, cFour Partners will then directly approach each individual in the order the client has chosen to rank them as candidates. cFour Partners then presents the opportunity and gives each candidate a chance to accept or decline. Once the first board member has been selected, cFour Partners will continue with the list in order to find additional members, as per the client's instructions and preferences.
To date, cFour Partners and its partner firms have conducted over 60 Board of Director searches for a wide range of companies and industry. More recent, as a result of Sarbanes Oxley, the majority of Board members we recruit have strong financial executive and strong operating executive skills.
